Gonzalo Golpe in Letterboxd

Recently (and with great joy) I discovered the Letterboxd social network dedicated to the world of cinema. A very complete website on this subject where you can include the movies you have seen (or that you remember having seen, in the event that you have seen a few), keep a diary of your viewings, discover new films, make your own lists and more. In addition, and it is something that is appreciated, in each film there is a section that includes the available platforms where you can see the film in question. In this link I leave my profile with (almost) all the films that I have seen so far (and those that I want to see) in constant update, to contribute with my grain of sand in case you find it interesting and useful to expand your cinephile culture. Jury at "Visiones 2023"

Some time ago the Spanish Association of Fantasy, Science Fiction and Terror asked me to be part of the jury to choose the winning image for the cover of the Visiones 2023 anthology. The theme revolved around the Nostalgia concept. The announcement of the selected people (there were two categories: stories and illustration) was made yesterday live on YouTube, and here is the full video. It was a very pleasant experience, as well as discovering the talent and vision that people have about a particular concept.

The forge

In 2002 I received a commission to carry out a promotional work for a well-known alcoholic beverage. The idea was to include the object to be promoted in a famous work. And, for this purpose, the work chosen to be transformed was La fragua de Vulcano , by Velázquez. This work is an acrylic on canvas and it decorated one of the walls of a now-disappeared place in Ferrol:
